Today I would tell you about the shapes and sizes of the kitchen which is the primary plan to make before finalization of the thing to take place. The shapes are in accordance to the available space in the flat or house. The kitchen should moderately be 8 feet by 6 feet. But in most cases the spaces are not in accordance to your need. This must be considered that kitchen can be any sizes. If the shapes and sizes are not moderate, you can plan with the kitchen interior decorator for the same and he/she can help you to make a sober plan keeping with the requirement you have.

As the kitchen is the most important part of the home, the place becoming point of attraction of most of the designers now-a-days. More and more designers are paying more and more time to make the kitchen more attractive place to decorate. With the innovations of a good no of electronic and electrical gadgets for the kitchen, the place more and more complecated to design.

Therefore it requires some simplified plans to make its execution little comfortable. 

In most cases the available kitchen spaces are rectangular in shapes. And that is the most acceptable kitchen shapes considered by most of the countries. Though the shapes and sizes are mostly co-related with the no of persons in the family, pattern of cooking and last but not the lease cooking habits.

The kitchens, considering the shapes and sizes, are divided  into four categories: a) L-shaped b) U-shaped c) straight line last but most unusual kitchen is d) Island kitchen.                                    TO BE CONTINUED..

BASIC REQUIREMENT FOR A KITCHEN TO MAKE

a) Wall tiles

b) Floor tiles or marble can be used

c) Granite slab for the counter

d) Sink preferably stainless steel or stone made sink may be one of the options

e) Table or wall mounted oscilating tap

f) Kitchen chimney

g) Electrical geyser

h) Electrical gadgets including fridge, dish washer, microoven etc

i) Paint for wall (as per your choice)

j) Last but not the end of list is the kitchen cabinet with ply and lamination, solid wood, MDF (medium density fibre) are common. But for the kitchen, the best quality material is merine ply with 1.5 mm lamination which gives a life time peace.
